Merry Christmas to all--near and far!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We got 6 + inches of snow last night, with more still falling. In total they expect one to two feet of snow, depending on where you are in the metro area. Driving is treacherous, but sledding isn't. Matt and his buddy Nick went over to the school and hit the hill this afternoon. The sledding was great.
We miss Sara, Trevor, Haven and Ezra this time of the year. I hope that they are busy building their own Arizona Christmas memories! I am calling Haven tomorrow to make sure she and Ezra got the presents that Papa and Gigi sent them.
Merry Christmas, may you have a wonderful holiday and an even better 2010.

Sleepover with the Daningers

When Haven and Ezra were in town, visiting from Arizona last, we borrowed the kids for a night and had a sleepover. We had a great time. We had dinner at Burger King and then spent an hour in the "play area" running and getting rid of all that extra energy.

After dinner, we came home and made a comfy nest in the floor of the living room and watched Kung Foo Panda. It was so much fun. Haven and Ezra have both changed so fast. Ezra is close to walking and is not a baby any longer. Haven is getting so articulate and grown up. I just hope that she doesn't forget who we are when she is living so far away.

Mason, Matt and Connor loved seeing both Haven and Ezra. They miss having them close by and can't wait for the next time they are in town.

Happy Halloween

Mason the Lion
Count Mattula and Connor the Impaler.

Scary Matt

Connor is a treat ready for some tricks.

We took Mason, Matt and Connor to Boutwell's Landing on Wednesday the 28th for Tricks and Treats. They do a parade every year and the residents hand out candy. Mason was just the cutest little lion! He was still little enough that he didn't get what was happening. Matt and Connor were excited. There were so many kids at Boutwells and it was fun to see the kids interact with the residents. We are going out again on Halloween evening. So we will have more than enough treats to go around. Happy Halloween.

Sasha's First Birthday Party

Isn't it hard to believe that Sasha is one year old? Seems only a few weeks ago she was born. Now she is one year old!

We had her birthday party on Friday. It was snowing and raining all night and some of the guests couldn't come because the roads were so bad. But Sasha didn't care, she only wanted to eat cake, open presents and play with her cousin Mason.

They got all dirty with frosting and took a bath before going to bed.
Ezra is turning one this Wednesday. I really with that we could see him for his first birthday, but he is in Arizona. I hope he has a really nice birthday too! We sent him a present, I hope it reaches him in time.

Happy Birthday!

Apple Orchard

Caitlin and I took Sasha, Matt and Connor to the apple orchard this weekend. We bought apples, pumpkins and treats. But Sasha was the real treat. She is so cute. She's growing by leaps and bounds. She is almost crawling and is talking up a storm.

Caitlin really liked the goats, or the goats really like Caitlin. I am not sure which it was. She started shouting not long after this picture. The goat decided that she tasted delicious and was nibbling on her jacket. It was pretty funny.

Matt and Connor spend a really long time picking out their pumpkins. They ended up getting a white one and a striped gourd. Go figure. These piles of pumpkins were $2 each. They were gorgeous and perfectly round and orange.
Sasha picked out a really cute little pumpkin. I don't think that they are carving it, but they are painting it.
Matt, Connor and Sasha look so cute in this picture. Their blue eyes really stand out. This was a great big pile of hay that kids could crawl on. They had tons of fun. The other thing that was really fun, was the corn box. It was like a huge sand box that was filled with corn not sand.
Farmer Sasha. She is tiny compared to the tractor. We had a great time. It was raining so we didn't do the hay ride, but next year will be more fun for Sasha as she will be almost two.

Stillwater Football SCVAA

Football season is half over. Matt is having a great year. He is number 70. Check this out.

There are some great playmakers on his team. He is lucky that most of his team from last year are back. Randy is coaching too. It makes it lots of fun.
