Mason's First Birthday

Mason had his first birthday last week. It's hard to believe that he is now one year old. We had a small party for him. He had cake. He kinda likes cake I think. He had it everywhere. In his nose, in his ears, on the floor and walls and all over his high chair. Thank God Annie could clean up most of the mess.

We gave him a bath after he was done. After he came out and got dressed, Connor went into the bathroom. He came out, and said very seriously, "Mom, someone is in big trouble, they took a poop in the bathtub." The tub was a mess, it had cake chunks and a ring of chocolate around it. What a mess!

Introducing Katie

Russell's daughter Katie has recently reconnected with her Dad. For the past months we have been getting to know her better. She is exactly one year and one week younger than Sara. She lives in Taunton, Somerset which is in the Southwest of England. She works in a local hospital as an aide. In her spare time she likes to play Wii, spend time with her friends and fish. She actually sent us a brilliant photo of a huge, and I mean HUGE trout, that Russell was supposed to scan, but didn't. We'll have to add that at a later time.

Matt and Connor are really excited to have another sister. Matt is hoping that she will take him fishing sometime. But she really needs to know that Matt is not able to sit quietly long enough to catch anything. Expect many more updates to follow. Katie, if I have forgotten anything, or you want me to add something let me know.
