Merry Christmas to all--near and far!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We got 6 + inches of snow last night, with more still falling. In total they expect one to two feet of snow, depending on where you are in the metro area. Driving is treacherous, but sledding isn't. Matt and his buddy Nick went over to the school and hit the hill this afternoon. The sledding was great.
We miss Sara, Trevor, Haven and Ezra this time of the year. I hope that they are busy building their own Arizona Christmas memories! I am calling Haven tomorrow to make sure she and Ezra got the presents that Papa and Gigi sent them.
Merry Christmas, may you have a wonderful holiday and an even better 2010.

Sleepover with the Daningers

When Haven and Ezra were in town, visiting from Arizona last, we borrowed the kids for a night and had a sleepover. We had a great time. We had dinner at Burger King and then spent an hour in the "play area" running and getting rid of all that extra energy.

After dinner, we came home and made a comfy nest in the floor of the living room and watched Kung Foo Panda. It was so much fun. Haven and Ezra have both changed so fast. Ezra is close to walking and is not a baby any longer. Haven is getting so articulate and grown up. I just hope that she doesn't forget who we are when she is living so far away.

Mason, Matt and Connor loved seeing both Haven and Ezra. They miss having them close by and can't wait for the next time they are in town.
